How Our Planet-Friendly Painting Pots Are Made
Ever wondered how milk bottle lids transform into our vibrant, eco-friendly painting pots? It’s a process that’s just as creative as the pots themselves!
Step 1: Collect & Clean
It all starts with 100% recycled HDPE plastic from milk bottle lids. These lids are carefully collected, sorted, and cleaned, ready for their second life in your art studio.
Step 2: Melt & Mix
The lids are then heated and melted down into a molten swirl of colours. By blending different shades, we create a one-of-a-kind marbled effect—no two pots are ever the same!
Step 3: Mould & Shape
The colourful molten plastic is poured into a specially designed mould, where it takes on the perfectly sized form for holding water, brushes, and paint tools.
Step 4: Cool & Refine
Once set, each pot is cooled and smoothed, ensuring a durable, lightweight, and easy-to-clean finish. And since it’s made from HDPE plastic, dried paint peels right off!
Why It Matters
By repurposing milk bottle lids, every pot keeps plastic out of landfills and our environment—all while giving artists a sustainable, long-lasting tool for their creative process.
